Already capped nine times in the Portuguese selection, at 19 years old (he will celebrate his 20th birthday on September 27th), the midfielder capable of playing advantageously in 6 or 8 promises to form a formidable pair with his compatriot Vitinha.
To secure the services of such a precocious talent, PSG had to wager 70 million euros all the same – including a bonus of 10 million. Almost a trifle given the initial claims of the leaders of Benfica Lisbon, the club that trained the nugget, who initially expected 120 million euros to give up the reins.
Sanches goes the other way
Arriving in the French capital early this afternoon on Thursday, Joao Neves was able to undergo the traditional medical examination – an essential step prior to signing a five-year contract with PSG, until June 2029.
