Barça’s new offer
Today, Marca reports that FC Barcelona believe the negotiations will reach a favourable outcome, with Olmo himself keen to return to his boyhood club ten years later. The 26-year-old wanted the negotiations to be concluded before he resumes training at Leipzig on August 9, but FC Barcelona are not prepared to guarantee that. However, the Barcelona bosses are trying to meet Leipzig’s €60 million demand.
Many will conclude that if Barcelona are making progress in negotiations for Olmo, it is because they have lost Williams.
