Paris Saint-Germain’s first summer signing, Russian goalkeeper Matvey Safonov (25 years old) is joining the Parisian club to compete with Gianluigi Donnarumma. Ambitious, the former FK Krasnodar player made it known that he was not coming to taste the bench. In an interview for Nobelhe also had a nice statement for his new club: “During my last match in Krasnodar, children shouted at me: “Don’t go to Paris, they have no history!” How old is PSG? 54 years old. Is it a young club? Without history? How old is FC Krasnodar? Fifteen or sixteen years old.”

Wary of the comments he heard, he wanted to defend his new team with whom he wants to reach the top: “I don’t understand. They have a history. They are a top club. They have won some trophies in Europe, not the Champions League, but still. PSG is one of the biggest clubs in the world. I wanted to go to PSG. Their biggest dream is to win the Champions League and we are going to win it.”
