Former coach of Gianluigi Donnarumma criticises PSG management

We thought that Gianluigi Donnarumma had finally dispelled all doubts about him, but clearly, the Italian will still have to prove himself in Paris. Balanced with Keylor Navas during his first season in the capital, the former AC Milan goalkeeper took over the starting spot during the following two. However, there is nothing to indicate that the situation will remain unchanged from September. With the arrival of the Russian Safonov, the cards will be redistributed, and no hierarchy has yet been established by Luis Enrique at the goalkeeper position.

In Paris, Donnarumma has often had to move forward against all odds (even if his performances have not always been flawless either). A situation that one of his former trainers regrets, as he was able to express in the newspaper The Team : “At the club, he started by being put in competition with Navas, then the staff changed, and now there would be no more hierarchy. A player must always be put in the best possible conditions, and at the club, he is not.”
