Thomas Tuchel did not convince Manchester United after the meeting

Looking for a coach to possibly replace Erik Ten Hag, Manchester United had thought of the German. The former PSG and Chelsea coach even met with Mancunian leaders on Tuesday, but he struggled to convince Jim Ratcliffe, the new owner of Manchester United.

According to The Times, the English billionaire no longer considers Thomas Tuchel as the future coach of his club. The Red Devils will have to fall back on other coaching profiles. In recent weeks, Gareth Southgate was the favorite to replace Erik Ten Hag.
