Kylian Mbappé left PSG on bad terms with management, hardly spared by some of the Parisian supporters. An observation that challenges Bixente Lizarazu.

In seven years at PSG, Kylian Mbappé has greatly contributed to the national and international influence of the capital club. Much more than the stars confirmed upon their arrival such as Lionel Messi or Neymar. However, the person concerned, who has officially committed to Real Madrid, leaves a taste of unfinished business to many Parisian supporters. “We absolutely must whistle the end of recess”

In the eyes of the former left side of the Blues, the French team for Mbappé constitutes the ideal decompression chamber. “ With the Blues, he finds a cocoon, a family environment. Didier Deschamps knows how to put it in the best possible conditions. (…) He must now find more calm and serenity, but sometimes that doesn’t happen overnight. When you’ve experienced a season with so much tension, it’s not easy to switch so easily. Wednesday, in Metz, we felt liberated, delivered from an environment that had become toxic at PSG, happy to be there. At a press conference, you can overplay your smile, sometimes trying to convince yourself. You cannot cheat in the game. »

Only Euro 2024 with the Blues must now count for the captain of the French selection. “ This week allows him to settle the files, to do a reset. On the other hand, after this match against Canada, we absolutely must whistle for the end of recess. PSG is over, now it’s the Euro with France. Real will be for later. It is very important for him and the Blues staff to frame things well, so as not to set the wrong objective or become dispersed. »
