This season is one to forget for Manchester United. Despite winning the FA Cup final against Manchester City, the Red Devils had their worst league campaign. Eighth in the Premier League, MU will hear the music of the Europa League next season thanks to its cup victory. However, it was difficult for Erik ten Hag and his staff, especially in dealing with injuries in defense. The long injury of Lisandro Martinez, added to those of Raphaël Varane and Harry Maguire, led the Dutch technician to compose an Evans-Casemiro hinge in the last matches.

To prevent this scenario from happening again next season, the leaders of the English club have checked six names to strengthen the rearguard according to the Daily Mail. Gleison Bremer (Juventus), Jean-Clair Todibo (Nice), Tosin Adarabioyo (Fulham), Marc Guehi (Crystal Palace), Aaron Anselmino (Boca Juniors) and Jarrad Branthwaite (Everton) are on the list. The last city acts as a priority and will be closely monitored during the Euro, which it will play with England.
