OM: Big problem confirmed before resumption

Penultimate in Ligue 1, Olympique de Marseille took advantage of the international break to take stock of the strengths and weaknesses of Bruno Genesio’s squad. One aspect particularly stands out.

There are international truces that come at a better time than others. For Olympique de Marseille, being able to take a breather after a series of five defeats in a row in all competitions was probably not a luxury.

The Marseille leaders took the opportunity to take stock of their team, after this one-way transfer window, in that of departures. It was also a question of taking stock of the first matches, where OM obtained “lots of opportunities”, while suffering “a lot in transition, with a fairly high block”.

Which gives an obvious limit to this OM: “We are the team that runs the least in Ligue 1. We are not capable of doing more, so we are thinking with the staff about ways to get around that.
