The lack of resources of Olympique de Marseille does not help in its search for its new coach.

Olympique de Marseille is still looking for its new coach. Two avenues seem favored for the moment, those leading to Paulo Fonseca, at the end of his contract at Lille, and to Sergio Conceiçao, the current coach of FC Porto.

But in both cases, OM must deal with competition from AC Milan and the two men seem to be waiting for a response from the Lombard club before considering joining the Ciel et Blanc.

And the absence of a European Cup next year and more generally the limited resources of the Marseille club do not speak in favor of Olympique de Marseille. This is evidenced by the comments made by someone close to the Portuguese coach, who would have become the priority of the Olympian leaders.

“Sergio respects the identity of OM. He appreciates the slightly volcanic side of the club, quite similar to that of Porto. He continues to carefully follow the L1, a qualitative championship in his eyes. Afterwards, his avowed ambition is to conquer the Champions League in future years. he confided in the columns of Le Parisien. Ambitions which seem incompatible with those of OM.
