While Pablo Longoria, after a catastrophic year, carefully prepares for next season, independent journalist Thibaud Vézirian reaffirms that the sale of OM is finalized and that the Spanish leader will inevitably be the big loser.

OM bought by Saudi Arabia is still relevant today. At least for Thibaud Vézirian. The independent journalist has been announcing the sale of the Marseille club by Frank McCourt for several years now and has repeated it on his YouTube channel. In his last live, “TV” was challenged in the comments by a Marseille supporter explaining that rumors of an imminent sale had resurfaced. Again and again…

“Everyone knows it, the question is when are they going to say it, when are they going to make it official? », Vézirian then replied. For the latter, the absence of McCourt from the second part of the Olympic season “says a lot” And “the big change” is therefore ” for now “. A few weeks ago, the former columnist on the L’Equipe channel gave a date, June 30, for a possible revolution at Olympique de Marseille.

“An exceptional new wind for OM”

The YouTuber therefore expects “good news in the days and weeks to come” and promises a “media tidal wave”which will instill “an exceptional new wind for the club”. And to explain that, in the event of a sale, President Pablo Longoria will obviously leave office “to the formalization of the buyout deal”. A whole new management will be installed and, if it really is the PIF (Saudi Arabia’s sovereign wealth fund) behind a buyout, the financial power will suddenly be considerable.

In the meantime, Longoria is determined to correct his many mistakes which directly caused OM to sink. The Europa League semi-final in no way alleviates the catastrophic course of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and his teammates in Ligue 1, for an eighth place without European qualification. The Spanish leader scuttled the Marseille club by entrusting the team to his friend Marcelino and by missing his summer transfer window in a big way.
