Chelsea defender Thiago Silva was injured against Aston Villa and Mauricio Pochettino provided an update on his health.
The Blues earned a 2-2 draw against Unai Emery’s side, with a bit of suspense at the end of stoppage time after VAR disallowed Disasi’s goal.
Pochettino told the media: “We have to evaluate him after tomorrow’s game: “We have to evaluate him after tomorrow. It involves groin pain, which was similar to Palace’s“.

If Silva’s injury is serious enough for him to be out for the rest of the season, the Brazilian veteran may well have played his last game for the Blues, as he is expected to leave the club this summer as a player free. He is said to have already reached a verbal agreement with his boyhood club, Fluminense.
With five matches remaining in the season, the Brazilian will have to embark on a race against time if he wants to make another appearance in the Blues jersey before his imminent departure.
