Jose Mourinho has outlined what he expects from his next managerial role, with the former Chelsea and Real Madrid boss awaiting offers.
The enigmatic Portuguese has been out of work since cutting ties with AS Roma in January. The idea of ​​an imminent departure to join Cristiano Ronaldo in the Saudi Pro League has been ruled out, with Mourinho believing he still has plenty to offer in Europe.
The former Chelsea, Manchester United and Tottenham manager’s return to the Premier League has been rumored, with Mourinho telling the Telegraph his demands for any job: “The only thing I want is for targets and goals to be set by everyone fairly,” he said. “I can’t go to a club where, because of my history, the objective is to win the title. Realistic goals

What I’m saying is that people should look at me the way they look at other people. What is important for me is that the club has objectives and that I can say that I am ready to fight to achieve them. I don’t mean realistic, but (at least) semi-realistic. When I went to Roma, no one dreamed of a European Cup final and we won it. It’s not possible that I go to a club that is almost relegated and the goal is to win the Champions League. It’s good but it’s not fair.”
Mourinho is now 61, but he insists he has no plans to slow down and believes his decorated career can be extended for many more years. He added of his future ambitions: “ It’s not like I’m 61 and want to stop at 65. There is no question. I still have a long career ahead of me.”
