FC Barcelona have made a frank decision regarding England international Mason Greenwood.
Mason Greenwood’s future continues to fuel rumors. Indeed, if FC Barcelona has been cited as a potential destination for the English striker, currently on loan from Manchester United to Getafe until the end of the season, it seems unlikely that this transfer will materialize.
Greenwood is under contract with United until June 2025, and the Red Devils would not object to his departure during the next transfer window. Note that the value of the Bradford native is estimated at 7.5 million euros on Transfermarkt.
Greenwood is not a priority
However, according to journalist Fabrizio Romano, transfer specialist, Barça is currently not working on the Greenwood file. The reigning Spanish champion has other priorities to strengthen his squad.
The future of the 21-year-old player therefore remains uncertain, but it seems that the Catalan club’s track is fading away.
