The leader, Borussia Dortmund, had the honor of launching this 5th day of the Bundesliga after a long international break of 3 weeks. BvB’s flawless performance ends there as Nico Kovac’s men were held at home by Werder Bremen 2-2. However, they were two goals ahead…
For a long time, the match remained stuck with a goalless score but the last quarter of an hour was completely crazy. Svensson (80th), and Schlotterbeck (85th) allowed Borussia to take a big option on victory but it was without counting on Reis (88th) and the equalizer from the former home scorer Füllkrug (90th + 2). Dortmund remains leader and takes a 3-point lead but could see Bayern steal the place if they succeed in Augsburg.
