While the departure of Kylian Mbappé from PSG only needs to be made official, Parisian leaders have already identified the player capable of replacing him.

PSG must this time come to terms. Almost seven years after his arrival in the capital, Kylian Mbappé has indeed decided to leave the capital club to join Real Madrid. A decision of which the person concerned informed Nasser Al-Khelaïfi this week. The Parisian president, who no longer had any illusions, knows what to expect and must now think about the post-Mbappé era.

If the Bondynois prepares to leave free, the French champions should not be too financially harmed. And not just because of the huge salary savings. Kylian Mbappé has also committed to waiving certain bonuses and could even donate part of his signing bonus that the Merengue club will pay him. Enough to allow the French champions to be ambitious for the future.

A priority of 130 million euros

PSG intends to take advantage of the departure of Kylian Mbappé to recruit three key players: a central defender, a midfielder and a striker. Randal Kolo Muani and Gonçalo Ramos certainly arrived last summer to prepare for the future, the Parisian leaders intend to enlist a new center forward. Several names have been mentioned in recent weeks, including that of Mohamed Salah.

But according to The Athletic, PSG’s priority is Victor Osimhen, already approached last summer. Luis Campos and his teams have already prepared the ground and the Rouge et Bleu know what to expect. Naples, who recently convinced their striker to extend until 2026, will indeed demand payment of his release clause, i.e. 130 million euros, to let him leave.
