In search of a new coach following the announcement of Xavi’s departure, Barça already has an idea in mind.
The announcement had the effect of a bomb. Four months before the end of the season, Xavi has indeed announced his decision to leave Barça this summer. A strong choice which forces the Catalan leaders to find a successor.
And according to the Spanish press, the Blaugrana have made Roberto de Zerbi their priority. Highly visible on the Brighton bench, the Italian technician would please as much for his results on the bench of the Seagulls, eighth in the Premier League, as for the shimmering style of play practiced by his teams.
In the event of failure of the track leading to the transalpine coach, Barça would have checked other names including those of Hansi Flick, free since his departure from the German national team and who would already be working on his Spanish, Xabi Alonso, Jürgen Klopp or Thiago Motta.
