With the departure of Xavi at the end of the season, FC Barcelona is looking for a new coach to prepare for the future. A few names have already come out in the press, like Xabi Alonso, Jürgen Klopp, or even Sergio Conceiçao, but it is another young coach who particularly pleases the Catalan management.

Indeed, as relayed by the media Sport, Sporting CP technician Rúben Amorim (39 years old) caught the eye of management, with his compatriot Deco, sporting director of the Blaugranas, as the first target. Barça have already explored the idea of putting him on the bench next summer, but his departure clause of 30 million euros is a significant obstacle. Barcelona does not have much room for maneuver in the transfer window from an economic point of view, and does not intend to pay to afford a coach.
