Injured in the back last November, Marc-André ter Stegen returns to his place in Barça’s goals for the La Liga match against Granada, this Sunday evening (9 p.m.).
Essential in FC Barcelona’s Spanish championship title last year (he only conceded 18 matches in 37 matches, before being voted Player of the Season), Marc-André ter Stegen is finally returning to competition. Injured in the back last November, the German goalkeeper missed no less than 18 matches (and his team disappointed in the league and in the cups).
Ter Stegen returns to the starting lineup in goal in place of Iñaki Peña for the visit of the penultimate Granada, this Sunday evening at the Olympic Stadium of Montjuic, as part of the 24e La Liga day. Xavi’s men, third in the standings, have the opportunity to come back to three points behind Girona, beaten by Real Madrid on Saturday evening.
