Qatar qualified for the Asian Cup final on Wednesday at the expense of Iran.

At the end of a topsy-turvy match, the hosts of the competition had the last word (2-3) thanks to an achievement from Almoez Ali in the 82nde minute.

Reduced to ten in added time, the Iranians pushed until the end to get back into the score. In vain.

Qatar, holders of the trophy, will defend their title on Saturday against Jordan, surprise winner of South Korea (2-0).
