Although he should soon sign up with Real Madrid, Kylian Mbappé still saw two clubs say no to his recruitment.

If he still refuses to speak publicly to announce his choice, Kylian Mbappé seems to be heading inexorably towards Real Madrid. At the end of his contract with Paris Saint-Germain next June, the French striker will most likely conclude a seven-year adventure with the club from the French capital. Eager since his early youth to wear Madrid colors, the Bondynois has nonetheless been in the sights of big Premier League teams. But they eventually backed down.

The information was confirmed Tuesday by The Independent who said that Liverpool and Arsenal had considered recruiting Kylian Mbappé for a while. The English media added that the reflection of the two teams of the richest championship in the world had, however, quickly reached a conclusion: Kylian Mbappé was too expensive. The salary demands of the 2018 world champion have put a definitive damper on the enthusiasm of London and Liverpool.

Real and that’s it

The media also specified that Liverpool and Arsenal felt that they should not upset their salary balance, which the arrival of Kylian Mbappé would not have failed to cause. A fact that Real Madrid has also thought about. And if President Florentino Perez will make a considerable effort to attract the nugget, he nevertheless warned him that he could never achieve what PSG offered him until now.

Paris a priori incapable of tipping the balance to its side a third time in a row, with the Premier League leaders in retreat, there is no longer any doubt that Real Madrid remains the one and only club still in the race. Of course, a last minute twist cannot be completely ruled out, but objectivity forces us to say that Mbappé’s signing for Real is more than likely.
