While Olympique de Marseille does not need that at the moment, Geoffrey Kondogbia was injured Friday evening against Strasbourg (1-1).

This is the other black point of the evening for Olympique de Marseille. While the Phocéens conceded the draw against Strasbourg (1-1) Friday evening at the opening of the 19th day of Ligue 1, Geoffrey Kondogbia left with an injury in the second half. And Gennaro Gattuso gave his news at a press conference.

“He took a hit yesterday (Thursday). This morning (Friday), we assessed the situation and he gritted his teeth. His form was rather negative before the match… We saw the doctors, there was a small problem with his hamstrings. I hope it’s nothing serious, we’ll see tomorrow (Saturday)”, explained the Olympian coach at a press conference.

OM would not need an injury to Kondogbia, especially in a sector of the game where Valentin Rongier (injured), Pape Gueye, Azzedine Ounahi and Amine Harit (left for the CAN) are already missing. It was rookie Jean Onana who replaced Kondogbia on Friday evening.
