AS Monaco would have ticked off an attractive name to strengthen itself during this winter transfer window.

Third in Ligue 1 at mid-season, AS Monaco has a card to play at the top of the table. The Principality club has established itself as one of the most attractive teams in France since the start of the season. But if Adi Hütter’s formation is very effective offensively, it does not display the same performance defensively, with a rearguard that is too tight.

According to information from RMC Sport, AS Monaco would have checked the name of Loïc Badé. Having worked at Racing Club de Lens or Stade Rennais, the former French Espoir international could be seduced by the challenge of the Monaco club. At 23 years old, Badé ticks a lot of boxes. The former Lensois notably won the Europa League with his current club, Sevilla FC.

Monaco shakes up its defense

Proof of AS Monaco’s ambitions during this winter transfer window, another major recruit has already arrived in the defensive sector since former Paris Saint-Germain player Thilo Kehrer has set down his bags on the Rock. ASM, which should see the departure of Guillermo Maripan, is clearly shaking up its defense.
