While the issue of the sale of the Parc des Princes is still raging in recent weeks, the Qatari president of Paris Saint-Germain, Nasser al-Khelaïfi, wanted to respond, not without annoyance, to David Belliard and the Paris town hall after several critical and notable outings on Qatar: “He doesn’t want us to buy him back because we’re Qatari, it’s just because we’re Qatar, we’re Arab. It’s serious to say that. I don’t even know if it’s legal to say that. We can’t say that, it’s very serious”then responded dryly the president of Paris Saint-Germain on the airwaves of RMC Sport in the show Rothen ignites.

As a reminder, the deputy mayor of Paris in charge of the transformation of public space and mobility had repeated his opposition to the sale of the stadium at the microphone of the morning of SudRadio : “yes, it would pose a problem for me if Paris sold the Parc des Princes to Qatar, or in any case, the sale of the Parc des Princes. I will oppose any sale. (…) It is the responsibility of PSG to carry out the work. PSG, whose majority shareholder is Qatar, has sufficient means to invest in this legendary park that is the Parc des Princes.”
