Chelsea: Christopher Nkunku, the return of the future hero

Christopher Nkunku (26) made his return to the field a few weeks ago with Chelsea. But barely recovered from his long injury which had sidelined him for 5 months, the midfielder was again absent during his team’s victory against Preston. The French international (10 caps) injured his hip in training this week.

Mauricio Pochettino was unable to give the length of his absence. At Chelsea since July, the former Leipzig player has only played three Premier League matches with his new colors. We hope nothing serious for the French international who has been unable to continue since his injury which occurred just before the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
