This Friday, Stéphanie Frappart was voted best female referee in the world for the fifth time in her career.

Since her debut, when she was only 20 years old, as a referee, Stéphanie Frappart has continued to climb the ranks and establish a place among the best referees in France and even in the world. The first woman to referee a men’s match in France, the first woman to referee a Ligue 1, Champions League and then men’s World Cup match, Frappart is now a well-known name in world football.

This Friday, the French referee received a new reward from the IFFHS, which also published its eleven of the year 2023. The native of Plessis-Bouchard was indeed designated best female referee in the world for the fifth time in her career.
