The Liverpool manager is not very happy about having to part ways with Mohamed Salah for a period of a month.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp admits he is not happy to lose Mohamed Salah as well as Wataru Endo this month.

Klopp wants early elimination of Egypt

Salah leaves for the African Cup of Nations with Egypt while Endo with Japan for the Asian Cup. Klopp admitted on this subject: “I told them that if I wished you good luck, it would be a lie. From a personal point of view, I wouldn’t be too unhappy if they were eliminated in the group stage, but that’s probably not possible.”

“But no, it doesn’t matter, of course I would be happy if they went all the way and won,” continued the German coach. I said good luck and come back healthy, that’s about all I said and that’s it. Now we have to deal with it and we will deal with it.”

As for the solutions envisaged internally to compensate for this double defection, Klopp confided: “I am convinced that we will find a solution, but we obviously have to show it on the pitch”.
