Vitor Roque was to be presented this Wednesday. But FC Barcelona recently learned some very bad news. The club cannot register its Brazilian striker, the fault of the unpaid debt of the Libero company which has still not paid the check for €40 million for the purchase of 10% of Barça Vision, one of the levers activated by the President Joan Laporta. The reigning Spanish champion is trying to negotiate with La Liga so that his new player can be registered, but it looks complicated.
And the situation is even more worrying than expected. The online newspaper Relevo notably contacted Marc Ciria, lawyer and financial manager of Victor Font’s candidacy in 2015, who made shocking revelations. “Barça has no margin with financial fair play and will not have any”he explained, before giving a truly worrying inventory of the situation.
The situation is critical

(…) Barça Studios (one of the levers that Barça wants to use, Editor’s note) charges 3 million euros, who is going to pay 400 million euros for that? »he said, pointing out the fact that despite all the operations and all the efforts made by Joan Laporta and his management since they took power, the situation has not improved that much.
What solutions can be found to obtain these 40 million euros which could temporarily relieve the club and allow Vitor Roque to be registered? “We have to sell players whose transfers have already been amortized, like Araujo or Pedri. Or bring in investors. Or sell BLM (the company that manages the club’s merchandising, Editor’s note),” explains the lawyer. Needless to say, it looks like it will be difficult…
