According to Le Parisien, Paris Saint-Germain will finally recruit a left back.
The situation has evolved for Nuno Mendes (21 years old). Initially, Paris Saint-Germain had planned not to recruit a left back during this winter transfer window. But that was without taking into account the injuries of the Portuguese international and his teammate Presnel Kimpembe, a central defender who can help out on the left side.
With Kimpembe’s Achilles tendon injury, which will not return before March, and the former Sporting member’s ischio injury, which should also see him return in the spring, the capital club wants to avoid any risks.
Faced with his absences, the reigning French champion will therefore review his copy and study the possibility of recruiting defensive reinforcement on the left lane, if we are to believe Le Parisien. As a reminder, the transfer market will officially open its doors on January 1 and close on February 1, 2024.
