French striker Marcus Thuram believes that Lautaro Martinez is a better striker than Kylian Mbappé.
Marcus Thuram and Kylian Mbappé have a real friendship. However, when we ask Lilian’s son for the best active striker he does not cite his teammate in the selection.
Thuram risks getting angry with Mbappé
In an offbeat interview with Goal Italy, Thuram was asked to rank Mbappé, Lautaro Martinez and Haaland in order. He put the Norwegian in 3e position, his compatriot in 2e and his club teammate at the top.
There is no doubt that the former Guingamp player did not want to get angry with the Argentine international he meets every day in Lombardy. It would have been unwelcome, especially since Lautaro recently showered him with praise in the transalpine press.

Mbappé should certainly not hold his position against him. After all, it was partly thanks to him that a year ago he became the second player to score a hat-trick in a World Cup final after England’s Geoff Hurst. That said, at the next Blues gathering, he will be sure to gently tug at his ear.
