On June 3, on the sidelines of the Cup final between Manchester United and Manchester City, a Red Devils supporter wore a shirt mocking the Hillsboough tragedy where 97 Liverpool fans lost their lives. Justice and Man Utd have decided to strike hard against the individual in question.
Aged 33, James White thought it was funny to come to the last Cup final with a 97 flocked jersey and ” Not enough (Editor’s note: Not enough) above. A reference to the 97 Reds supporters who died during the Hillsborough tragedy in April 1989. Identified at Wembley on social networks, this Mancunian fan was arrested and on Monday he was in court. After pleading guilty, the supporter in question was sentenced to a four-year ban from attending a football match in England, as well as a fine of just over 1,500 euros. In the wake of the conviction, Manchester United released the supporter’s name and clarified that he was now banned indefinitely from matches at Old Trafford, as well as from all club-related activities. A decision hailed by the Liverpool club.
