Before the reception of Granada this Saturday in the early evening (6:30 p.m.), an important match for first place in La Liga, Carlo Ancelotti was present at a press conference to discuss the news of his players. If the Italian coach obviously returned to Jude Bellingham’s injury, he also mentioned his midfielder and in particular Toni Kroos (33), who extended his contract for a season last summer.

The German midfielder is therefore at the end of his contract and could well leave or retire. “The decision to retire will be his. He is very loved and he knows it. He maintains the usual continuity in his game, he feels good, no matter who plays alongside him: Valverde, Tchouameni, Camavinga… his level is always the same”, indicated his coach to the media. As a reminder, Toni Kroos has already retired internationally in 2021 and will therefore not play Euro 2024, which will however be played on German soil.
