During a press conference this Friday, Carklo Ancelotti mentioned the Mauro Icardi rumor.

For several days, Mauro Icardi has seen his name associated with Real Madrid. A rumor also maintained by his agent Elio Letterio Pino, who recently declared to the daily AS: “Real Madrid has not made an offer for Icardi, but we are speaking with those responsible for Real Madrid”.

Asked this Friday at a press conference about the possibility of seeing a new striker join his squad during the winter transfer window, Carlo Ancelotti made things clear.

“A new striker in January? No, that’s a completely different problem. The club’s approach to the squad has been fantastic, injuries are a scheduling problem,” replied the Italian technician on the eve of Madrid’s trip to Granada this Saturday (6:30 p.m.).
