Former FC Barcelona midfielder Arturo Vidal has urged Alejandro Garnacho to make a name for himself at Manchester United.
Vidal was impressed by Garnacho’s stunning goal against Everton, but feels he needs his own celebration.
“Garnacho?” Let him stop imitating Ronaldo”
He said about it: “It’s a magnificent goal. The only negative point, or what I didn’t understand, is why he celebrates like a Cristiano. I don’t understand why he doesn’t celebrate and make a name for himself. It’s good that he (Ronaldo, editor’s note) is his idol, but he has to make a name for himself. He’s already a great player.”
And to add: “I respect the fact that he is her idol. But he must make a name for himself, otherwise he will always remain in the shadows. Celebrate goals in a different way. But it was a great goal, that’s for sure.”
Vidal currently plays in Brazil with Athletico Paranaense. He never played with Cristiano Ronaldo during his career. On the other hand, he played with Lionel Messi during the last season of La Pulga in Barcelona.
