Recruited for some 15 million euros this summer from Southampton, Mohammed Salisu is preparing to take his first steps with Monaco. The 24-year-old central defender will indeed be in the squad to face PSG on Friday. Victim of pubalgia which forced him to undergo surgery in mid-September, the Ghanaian is now fit.
“Mohammed Salisu will be with us, he will be part of the group of 21 players that we are taking for this trip”announced his coach Adi Hüttler, adding: “I can’t say if he will be in the team, but in any case he is on the right track to return to competition. Maybe it still takes time for it to start again, we’ll see.”
