Warren Zaire-Emery’s ankle injury has reinforced the Parisian leaders’ desire to recruit in midfield during the next winter transfer window.

We will still have to wait a few days before knowing more precisely the duration of Warren Zaire-Emery’s unavailability. If it is already certain that the French midfielder will miss the shocks against Monaco then Newcastle and even the trip to Le Havre, it is not yet excluded that the native of Montreuil could return to the field from here the international truce, contrary to what the first predictions assured.

However, WZE’s ankle injury has further convinced Luis Campos and his teams of the need to strengthen in midfield this winter. And according to Le Parisien, the Parisian leaders already have several names in mind, including those of Kephren Thuram and Manu Koné, already in the capital club’s papers last summer.

However, the two files will not be easy to complete and another option could be quickly explored, that leading to Wilfried Ndidi, who remained at Leicester last summer despite the Foxes’ relegation to the Championship. Note that PSG has also already ticked off names for next summer, including those of Youssouf Fofana and Adrien Rabiot, who will be at the end of their contract next June and can therefore be recruited for free.
