FC Barcelona is preparing to return to the United States five months after concluding its preseason tour there, as it desperately searches for revenue.
According to MDthe Blaugrana are awaiting confirmation from La Liga that their last match of 2023 will take place on December 19 against Almeria, so that they can travel to Dallas for a friendly against Mexican club Club America on the 21st. 80,000-seat AT&T Stadium in Texas, which also hosted their friendly Clasico this summer.
The match will bring in around €5 million for FC Barcelona, which could play a role in their ability to recruit during the January transfer window. According to the latest information, FC Barcelona are looking to recruit a midfielder rather than Brazilian striker Vitor Roque.
This could well make the difference for FC Barcelona in the January transfer market, but it will cost them dearly.
