During an interview at Guardianthe 39-year-old defender looked back on his Parisian adventure and his absolute dream of lifting the Champions League with the French team.
Other players like Marquinhos, Neymar and Marco Verratti were ready to do anything to win the most prestigious club competition according to the former rock of the Parisian defense.
“ My dream, like Neymar, Marquinhos and Verratti, was to win the Champions League, I can tell you that. Marquinhos still has chances, but with PSG, it’s over for us. Neymar would certainly have liked to stay. Winning the Champions League was his dream,” he said.
