Often described as a very inconsistent and often injured talented player, Ousmane Dembélé has completely changed since signing for Paris Saint-Germain. Having become the leader of the red and blue team over the years, the 29-year-old French international managed to win two Champions Leagues and the Ballon d’Or in 2025. And here is what he changed to win the most prestigious of individual trophies.

“The mentality. As we get older, at 28, we become much more mature. We are progressing in our football. I am no longer the same player I was at 20, when I was at Dortmund. There are a lot of things changing. We want to score goals, deliver assists, but over the years, I have mainly sought to be efficient in everything I do on the pitch. And the most important thing is to help the team”he confided to the BBC.
