Saturday evening, Real Madrid crushed Valencia at the Santiago Bernabeu (5-1). A victory which feels good and which allows the Merengues to get closer to Girona in the La Liga standings. First scorer of the match (1-0, 3rd), Dani Carvajal held his place as often. On the field as well as in the mixed zone where he stopped to answer questions from journalists. He took the opportunity to slip a little note to Gerard Piqué.

The latter had recently attacked the Madrilenians by explaining that the great FC Barcelona would be remembered much more than the great Real Madrid, adding that the last Champions League won (14th) was trivial or almost. Words that Dani Carvajal doesn’t really take seriously. “I’m not going to get into a debate with Gerard. If he doesn’t want to remember her, he shouldn’t remember her, but I think she’ll be one of the best here.”says the Spanish right-back.
