Qatar wants to invest in a new Premier League club

After failing to buy Manchester United, Qatar is not giving up and still wants to invest in the Premier League. Another English club is now in Sheikh Jassim’s sights. Indeed, The Times reveals that West Ham is very popular with the rich and powerful Qatari investor.

The English media specifies that the co-owner of the London team, Vanessa Gold, wishes to sell certain shares, she who acquired 25% of the club. A priori, it would only sell 10% of its shares, but it is possible that it ends up selling them all. Qatar therefore hopes to take advantage of this to make a sensational entry into the Premier League.
