At the time of writing, Luis Diaz’s father was still wanted by the police and the army. The Colombian Liverpool striker is experiencing tragedy after the kidnapping of his parents on Saturday in Barrancas (northern Colombia).
The 26-year-old player’s mother was found and rescued, local authorities said, adding that her husband, Luis Manuel Diaz, is actively sought, like the kidnappers who apparently acted on a motorcycle.
