Marcus Rashford, the MU striker, is convinced that his team can pull off a big blow against the Eastlands.
Manchester United striker Marcus Rashford believes fan support can make the difference against Manchester City tomorrow. And that’s why he strongly believes in a positive result against the reigning English champion.
Rashford believes in an achievement
Marcus Rashford believes Manchester United can start their season by winning on Sunday. “Football is sometimes done like this,” he told the United Review. “I don’t think we played at our best, but we just won three games. I remember last season, before we played Liverpool at home at the start of the season, we weren’t at our best, but we responded in an important match. We will look to achieve this type of performance again. If we succeed and win, we will be happy.”
The England international firmly believes that this match will be one of rebound for the Red Devils. “I see similarities (with the Liverpool game). We have the courage and the will to fight in every match we play, and we have to take points. We need to move up the Premier League table, there is no time to lose.”
Finally, Rashford concluded by indicating that he relies a lot on the fans to be able to achieve the feat. “There is always something special in a player’s life. During these matches and the fans are there for us every time. They contributed greatly to our victory, as we saw in many matches, home and away. The fans played an important role. There are times in the match when your back is against the wall and that’s when the crowd can make all the difference and push you to move forward.”
