Juventus launches its huge extension project

The climate is slowly softening at Juventus. After the affair of false capital gains last year, which reduced his points in the ranking, then that of Paul Pogba’s doping at the start of the season, and now of Nicolò Fagioli who received a 7-month suspension from any professional sporting activity after illegal betting, the Old Lady concentrates on the field. It’s working out quite well for her at the moment since she is 3rd in Serie A with only one small defeat. More stable sportingly, negotiations are also progressing behind the scenes.

We are talking here about a very large extension project which has been launched since the start of the season. Three days ago, it was Federico Gatti who extended his contract until 2028. The defender is starting to become a sure value for the Bianconeri. He is actually only the first signing in a long list. In bad shape financially, Juve cannot go crazy on the transfer market. She must therefore go through in-house solutions and it works rather in her favor if we are to believe La Gazzetta dello Sport.

Juve relies on its young people

At the end of his contract at the end of the season, Adrien Rabiot opened the discussions. According to the pink paper newspaper, a meeting must take place soon with the mother, Véronique Rabiot, of the midfielder. Over the months, the Frenchman has become the reference in the Turin midfield. We are talking about a possible arrangement until 2027, like Fabio Miretti, who already extended this summer. Also linked to the Piedmontese until this date, Bremer has become the captain of the defense and should be offered a new contract by the end of the season.

With these executives, Juventus is already preparing for the future. It has quite a few young shoots in its squad, which are just waiting to blossom like Kenan Yıldız (18 years old) and Dean Huijsen (18 years old), both recently extended until 2027. The young but already experienced Timothy Weah (23 years old) and Andrea Cambiaso (23 years old) must serve as relays between the generations. Even more surprising, confidence in Nicolò Fagioli (22 years old, under contract until 2026) is maintained despite recent news. Juventus wants to extend it for two years. The future will be written with him.
