The two Manchester clubs may have a certain rivalry, but we don’t joke with the legends. Last weekend during the home victory against Brighton (2-1) on behalf of the 9th day of the Premier League, Cityzens supporters sang songs to mock Sir Bobby Charlton, legendary player of MU died last Saturday. A lack of respect severely punished by the reigning European champion club.

“Manchester City confirms that two minors have been identified in connection with the vile chants heard at the Etihad Stadium during half-time of last weekend’s match against Brighton & Hove Albion. The individuals in question have been suspended from all home or away matches and their details have been passed to Greater Manchester Police who are investigating the matter. Following the ongoing investigation by Greater Manchester Police, these individuals will be subject to the club’s formal sanctions and banning process.”indicated the Skyblues in a press release published by The Athletic.
