Saudi Arabia have often been linked with Robert Lewandowski in recent months, but the Polish striker has always maintained that he feels good in Catalonia. Another FC Barcelona attacker is now targeted.
According to SportAnsu Fati is attracting interest from the Saudi Pro League, which would have been communicated to his clan, presumably to his agent Jorge Mendes.
Fati has failed to make an impact at Brighton and Hove Albion since joining on loan, scoring just once in ten appearances, in a 6-1 defeat to Aston Villa.
The Catalan daily claims that FC Barcelona is not yet considering his departure, and hopes that he will flourish at Brighton, and will reassess his situation later.
As for the player, the Spanish media believe that he is not very keen on the idea of a transfer, due to the level in Saudi Arabia. However, as Ansu’s stock continues to fall, his camp, likely his agent and/or his father, would like to accept a big offer while they still can.
