The Napoli striker was injured during the draw between Nigeria and Saudi Arabia (2-2) on Friday evening.

Bad news for Victor Osimhen. The latter left with an injury an hour into the friendly match between Nigeria and Saudi Arabia (2-2) on Friday evening.

The Naples striker will undergo an MRI to find out more about the nature of his injury. One thing is certain: he will be out of the next Super Eagles match, scheduled for Monday against Mozambique.

“In my opinion, we don’t need to play him again, regardless of the MRI result”confided Nigerian coach José Peseiro.
