Far from problems and well established in the United States, David Beckham nonetheless remains a supporter of the Red Devils. With 394 matches and 85 goals, notably during his time at Manchester United, the former midfielder is still more or less linked to the club. But the latter is going badly and the sale announced almost a year ago is slow to take place. The protests continue, while at the same time, the performances of Erik ten Hag’s men are worrying.

Interviewed at the microphone of Sky Sports regarding the club’s situation, David Beckham calms things down. “We are one of, if not the biggest club in the world. We want stability. I think that’s the most important thing.”he said, before being questioned about the candidacy of Sheikh Jassim. “We all have our favorites of who we think needs to lead the club and look after the club to get it back to where it belongs. In our eyes, in the eyes of the fans, we are number one. We want to get back to the top and I think I know the right people to do it, so we’ll see!”, explains the owner of Inter Miami, alluding to a potential role in the future takeover. David Beckham also had a word for Erik ten Hag: “Let’s see. He’s a good coach. It’s a difficult time at the moment but there is a lot of noise around the club. It can’t be easy for him.”
