Real Madrid continues its offensive in the Negreira affair. The Madrid club also continues to take legal action to shed light on the alleged payments made by FC Barcelona to José María Enríquez Negreira, former vice-president of the technical committee of referees. According to A.S.the Merengues notably asked the judge to force Barça to transmit its entire compliance system between 2010 and 2018 in order to verify the control systems against corruption.
Furthermore, Real Madrid is demanding that the Civil Guard provide several financial documents missing from the file, including invoices, payment authorizations, internal circuits and company audits. In Valdebebas, the club intends to see the procedure through to the end, both legally and sportingly. Real Madrid has also asked UEFA to withdraw from FC Barcelona the titles won during the period concerned by the Negreira affair between 2001 and 2018, i.e. 35 titles.
