Jurgen Klopp has spoken about Liverpool’s famous 2-1 defeat against Tottenham.

Jurgen Klopp believes Liverpool’s 2-1 defeat to Tottenham should be replayed after VAR failed to intervene when Luis Diaz’s ‘goal’ was disallowed.

Klopp made the extraordinary statement on Wednesday during his press conference ahead of Liverpool’s Europa League encounter with Union Saint-Gilloise at Anfield.

“As a football fan, I think we need to replay the match,” said the German coach.

As a reminder, referee Darren England failed to overturn an incorrect VAR decision to rule out a Luis Diaz ‘goal’ during Liverpool’s match against Spurs on Saturday. The incident occurred when the score was tied and Liverpool lost 2-1.
