Managing a career in the City of Lights is not always easy. Between the over-media coverage, the pressure from PSG and the attractions of the capital, certain stars who have passed through the club have not been spared from criticism. This was the case of Marco Verratti. Transferred at the end of the summer to Qatar after 11 seasons spent in Paris, the little Italian has regularly fueled debates because of his habits off the field.

The newspaper L’Équipe collected this Tuesday the comments of a journalist who regularly covers Paris Saint-Germain.

“The day after an Italy-Israel match, I am with friends at Nolita, an Italian restaurant on the Champs where he has his habits and we see him arriving. He goes behind the bar, Italian tracksuit on his back, pours himself a glass of wine, takes out the packet of cigarettes, goes straight to the balcony and I find myself with him, smoking cigarettes.” blurted out the latter.
